Horacio Garcia Rossi and the GRAV Group. Geometry of Fantastic SpaceThrough 14 SeptemberThis project is a continuation of the Italian Kinetic Movement exhibition which took place in the State Hermitage Museum in 2006. The new exhibition includes 40 works by artists of the GRAV group collected from museum and private collections and encompassing half a century of their creativity. At the centre of the exhibition are 21 works by the leader of the group, Argentinean Horacio Garcia Rossi.
The exhibition offers museum visitors opportunities for physical interaction with the artworks which is an extremely rare occurance at the Hermitage.
In the Wild Kingdom of Nature. The Graphic Work of Heinrich Theodor Wehle from German Museums10 June / 7 SeptemberSixty-three works by the artist Heinrich Theodor Wehle (1778 – 1805) are to be displayed at the exhibition, taken from museums in Sorbs, Bautzen, the Kunsthalle in Hamburg, and private collections from Dessau and Erfurt. Steep cliffs and impossible, seemingly endless, mountain ranges with the occasional ruins of a fortress on the peaks, waterfalls, horsemen and soldiers, travellers in caravans and holiday makers all find a place in the pictures created in the Caucasus.
Parmigianino: The Conversion of Saint Paul16 June / 28 SeptemberThis exhibition offers a rare opportunity to see a masterpiece from the Kunsthistorisches Museum, Vienna by the prominent Italian Mannerist painter and printmaker active during the 16th century in Florence, Rome, Bologna and his native city of Parma.
In Palaces and Tents: The Islamic World from China to EuropeThrough 7 September
This is the last chance to see this exhibition which includes more than 300 pieces coming from different countries of the Islamic World. Of special interest are masterpieces of Indian jewellery dating from the 17th–18th centuries. Most of the exhibits including fine fabrics, caskets and metalwork have never been displayed before.

At the end of the 19th century the group of pictures and decorative arts assembled by the businessman and collector Henri Brocard was seen as one of the most extensive and valuable private collections in the world. As part of an ongoing cycle of exhibitions devoted to the history of private collections in Russia, approximately 50 canvases by Western European and Russian masters, graphics and objects of decorative art will be displayed.
